What is Truth?

THE GOSPEL

Is Truth constant or is it relative? What is it?

Joh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for THE FATHER SEEKETH SUCH TO WORSHIP HIM.
Joh 4:24 Elohim is a Spirit: and they that worship him MUST worship him in spirit and in truth.
The importance of Truth is emphasized throughout the Gospel, as is the importance of not following after doctrines of men. Most of the over 40,000 denominations will claim to believe that the Bible is the Truth, however, upon closer examination it's evident that men's doctrines and their claims about their faith don't always align.
I was watching a video of Ray Comfort speaking with an atheist yesterday. The discourse went something like this:
Ray: "Have you ever lied, stolen, lusted, etc."
Atheist: "Have you ever eaten shell fish or bacon".
Ray: "of course",
Atheist: "Well you've broken the Law".
Ray: "That's the ceremonial or dietary Laws of Israel I live in America 3,000 years later".
Atheist: "The book of Leviticus was not specific to Israel the book of Leviticus is per your terms the word of God".
Ray: "The Law that's going to judge us isn't the dietary law its the moral law, its the ten commandments that what we have to face on judgement day".
Atheist: "The ten commandments don't apply to me because I'm not a Christian".
Ray: "Ignorance of the Law is no excuse, if you violate the Law and say, judge I didn't know about it will still judge you".
The atheist in this video actually brought up some extremely valid points and Ray responded with what he truly believes to be the truth. The problem is that none of what Ray responded with is biblical at all and he completely contradicts the Doctrine of Christ. No where in the Bible will you find the term "moral law". The word moral relates to the belief between right and wrong. If Yahweh say's not to eat something then it is immoral to eat it (i.e. Adam and Eve). The term "Moral Law" is used in an effort to separate people from certain commandments but it doesn't stand when scrutinized. If Yahweh say's to do or not do something it is morally wrong to disobey. Another term no where to be found in the Bible is "ceremonial laws". How does one decide which commandments fall into this category? Not eating unclean meats is as much a ceremony as not stealing or not murdering. "Dietary Laws" is also no where to be found in the scriptures and appears to be an effort to downplay the commandment.
Lev 11:44 For I am Yahweh your Elohim: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
We are commanded to sanctify ourselves and he is giving us specific instruction on how to do that.
What scripture was in existence when Yahshua preached the Gospel? The epistles were not even written when He said the following:
Joh 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: THY WORD IS TRUTH.
Yahshua says that what man calls "The Old Testament scriptures" is the Truth. He is the perfect example for us to follow and we are supposed to sanctify ourselves just as He did.
Joh 17:19 And for their sakes i sanctify myself THAT THEY ALSO might be sanctified through the truth.
Joh 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
He is talking about all of those that would believe through the word of His disciples in verse 20. How then does it make any sense at all to argue, that because we live in America 3,000 years after the commandments were given they don't apply to us? This argument has its roots in humanism and moral relativity. Truth is not relative, it is constant and immovable. It is the firm foundation that Christ taught and walked out perfectly.
Ray Comfort went on to say that we will be judged by the 10 commandments (only), but that is not what the Gospel says.
Joh 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not MY WORDS, hath one that judgeth him: THE WORD THAT I HAVE SPOKEN, the same shall judge him in the last day.
According to Yahshua's Testimony it is His Words that will judge on the last day, not just the 10 commandments.
Rev 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
The scriptures do not define what the Nicolaitan's taught, whatever the specifics of the doctrine were its pretty safe to say that it contradicted Yahshua's Words since He hates it and fights against them with the sword of His mouth.
Isa 66:15 For, behold, Yahweh will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Isa 66:16 For by fire and BY HIS SWORD will Yahweh plead with all flesh: and the slain of Yahweh shall be many.
Isa 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith Yahweh.
This prophecy has not taken place and is about the 2nd coming (In verse 22 there is mention of a new heaven and a new earth). Note the similar language that Paul uses.
2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Master Yahshua shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not Elohim, and THAT OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL OF OUR MASTER YAHSHUA THE MESSIAH:
2Th 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Master, and from the glory of his power;
The people destroyed think to be sanctified and purified while eating what Yahweh calls abominable. You may think that I am being harsh but this is not me saying this is what will happen. This is what the prophecy clearly states and it aligns perfectly with the Gospel of Yahshua the Messiah. The Truth does matter and it is unchanging.
Psa 119:150 They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
Psa 119:151 Thou art near, O Yahweh; and ALL THY COMMANDMENTS ARE TRUTH.
Psa 119:152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
Traditions and doctrines of men do not serve the Truth and thusly serve lies and the father of them. The father of lies will always seek to separate us from the commandments of Yahweh and from the Testimony of Yahshua.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of Elohim, and have the testimony of Yahshua the Messiah.
