The warning within the Parable of Lazarus and the Rich man

The warning that is often missed within this parable is one that we need to take heed of.

THE GOSPEL

The Parable of the Rich man and Lazarus is pretty well known and clearly speaks to the need to love our neighbor and the consequences of not doing so, but there's a hidden message concealed within this parable that is of paramount importance. The concealment of this message is, no doubt, due to the man made doctrines and traditions that have taught us not to hear the Law nor the Mediator of Yahweh's New Covenant. These false doctrines teach that the Law is not of faith or mercy or love but rather that it's a form of legalistic bondage that Christ came to free us from. These teachings are completely contrary to the Gospel of Christ, which are the very words that will judge us on the last day if we reject them.
Mat 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted THE WEIGHTIER MATTERS OF THE LAW, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Yahshua points out that the weightier matters of the Law are judgment, mercy and faith. Notice that Yahshua rebukes the Pharisees for omitting these. "Churches" are guilty of this very same sin by subtracting these things from the Law. Another interesting thing to note is that Yahushua does not rebuke them for paying close detail to the Law by tithing even out of their herb gardens but rather tells them to not leave that undone. Yahweh makes it perfectly clear in His Law that we are to love our neighbor.
Lev 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother IN THINE HEART thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
Lev 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF: I AM YAHWEH.
This is the 2nd great commandment in the Law according to Yahshua's Testimony below.
Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Yahshua said unto him, Thou shalt love Yahweh thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang ALL OF THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.
I've heard this taught as if only the 10 commandments hang on the 2 Great ones but that's not what Christ said. He said ALL OF THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS. That's the entirety of what they call the "Old Testament" (we need to be very careful with subtle changes in the Word as taught by man). All of the Law and the Prophets is instruction in how Yahweh wants us to love Him and our neighbor. This teaching from the Doctrine of Christ shall never pass away and we see this in the parable below.
Luk 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
Luk 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
Luk 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
Luk 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
Luk 16:23 And in hell(Hades)he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
Luk 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Luk 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
Luk 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Luk 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
Luk 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Luk 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them HEAR THEM.
Luk 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
Luk 16:31 And he said unto him, IF THEY HEAR NOT MOSES AND THE PROPHETS, NEITHER WILL THEY BE PERSUADED THOUGH ONE ROSE FROM THE DEAD.
Moses and the Prophets bear witness to the Truth by speaking the Word of Yahweh. Yahweh then sent His son with the Gospel of the Kingdom, commanding obedience to the Law and His Prophets (Yahweh's Word is Truth). This parable is teaching that if we don't hear Moses or the Prophets neither will we be persuaded by the one that rose from the dead. Not only do false doctrines make the Law and the Prophets of none effect through subtle word play but the very words of the one that was anointed to preach the Everlasting Gospel are also rejected. Look at the verses below.
Joh 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
Joh 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe MY WORDS?
How can we believe His Word's while rejecting the Law and the Prophets? The answer is that we can't. We see in Revelation Chapter 15 that those that overcome sing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb and speak to Yahweh's judgments being made manifest.
Rev 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of Elohim.
Rev 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Master Elohim Almighty; JUST AND TRUE ARE THY WAYS, thou King of saints.
Rev 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Master, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
We have the gift of His Testimony and we can also see in the Revelation of Yahshua who it is that overcomes the world and what they are singing. The Vail is done away with in Christ if we start to Hear and Obey Him.
2Co 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament(Covenant); which vail is done away in Christ.
2Co 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
