Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of Elohim is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Proverbs 30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
The above passage is a, not so subtle, prophecy concerning both the Father and the Sons Name being hidden at a future time and appears to end with a question designed to provoke the reader to begin a search for the answer of what their Names are. I don't think that it's a coincidence that right after posing the question the prophet states that "Every word of Elohim is pure" warning against adding to the Word. In the below passage the Psalmist speaks concerning those that forget His Words and touches on the purity of the Word.
Psalms 119:139 My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.
Psalms 119:140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
We see by these 2 above passages that adding to the Word is equated to being a liar and forgetting His word is equated to being an enemy. These are very weighty warnings in terms of consequence. Interestingly, Proverbs 30:4 poses a very important question as to what the Names are. We know that throughout the scriptures the importance of the Names is emphasized but unfortunately despite these warnings man has seen fit to conceal both. Notice how differently the below verse reads with the name of Yahweh preserved as rendered in the original Hebrew and Greek (Septuagint).
Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of YAHWEH thy Elohim in vain ; for YAHWEH will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
The word vain in the Hebrew is Shaw and it means worthlessness, emptiness, nothingness. I was taught as a child, as many are, that if I said OMG I was breaking this commandment but that's not what the commandment states. What it does state is that the Name of Yahweh should not be held as something worthless and He will not hold the person who does so as guiltless. It's interesting the way deception works in that it is very precise in the language that it chooses to both use and conceal. In this particular instance the very Name of the Father has been concealed from the very commandment given to sanctify it. The deceiver is extremely precise in his usage of language in order to contaminate the purity of the Word. It is for this reason that we must, out of necessity, search for the truth by being as accurate as possible in order to remove any and all contamination inserted by both "theologians" and translators. Christ gives multiple warnings in His Gospel concerning this very thing.
Matt 6:22 "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light."
Matt 6:23 "But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, HOW GREAT IS THAT DARKNESS!"
He warns over and over again and again about not being deceived.
Luke 8:17 "For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad."
Luke 8:18 "TAKE HEED therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he SEEMETH to have."
What is taught today from many pulpits is a far cry from the doctrine of Christ. I've heard people teaching "It doesn't matter what you call Him" and if they don't specifically use the words "it doesn't matter" it is heavily implied. This is an extremely dangerous attitude to have toward Truth. If the Truth which is given is rejected by way of callousness so as to say "it doesn't matter", why would more be given? He will not cast His pearls before swine. An attitude of humility is required in order to place the correct value on His revelation. This revelation will only come through Yahshua, the one that was anointed to reveal it through His Gospel.
Matt 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Matt 13:11 He answered and said unto them, "Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given."
Matt 13:12 "For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more ABUNDANCE: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath."
Matt 13:13 "Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand."
Matt 13:14 "And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:"
Matt 13:15 "For this people’s heart is WAXED GROSS, and their ears are DULL OF HEARING, and their eyes THEY HAVE CLOSED; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them."
The Greek word translated "Waxed Gross" in verse 15 is pachynō and it means stupefy, to make stupid, to render callous. There is a willfulness involved here as He goes to state that "They have closed eyes". This callous attitude is one that results in blindness for not placing the correct value on Truth. In verse 12 He states that one has to have something in order to be given more and that person will have more in abundance. In verse 14 He then quotes Isaiah chapter 6 which is a judgment on the wicked carrying over from evils mentioned in chapter 5 of Isaiah. Note the similarities to today.
Isaiah 5:20 ¶Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isaiah 5:21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
Isaiah 5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
Isaiah 5:23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
Isaiah 5:24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of Yahweh of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
They were calling good evil and evil good and putting darkness for light and light for darkness. This is rampant in today's religious institutions, from the various false gospels right up to sunrise easter service followed by easter hams all the while calling what Yahweh set apart bad and calling their man made unclean practices good. In Isaiah's time they were justifying the wicked while taking away righteousness from the ones that were righteous. The only cure for this deafness and blindness is in Yahshua's Testimony.
John 9:39 ¶And Yahshua said, "For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; AND THEY WHICH SEE MAY BE MADE BLIND."
John 9:40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
John 9:41 Yahshua said unto them, "If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now YE SAY, We see; therefore your sin remaineth."
Yahshua came not only to heal the blind but to also make blind those that CLAIMED to see. This is not spoken of often but it is a very real consequence of arrogantly choosing to not hear the Messiah. In verse 41 Yahshua tells the religious leaders that it was because they claimed to see that their sin would remain. They proudly cleaved to their own doctrines and discarded the only doctrine that was able to save their souls. This doctrine came directly from the Father, through His Son. The Psalmist describes just how pure the Words of Yahweh are.
Psalms 12:6 The words of Yahweh are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, PURIFIED SEVEN TIMES.
Purified seven times!!! We should handle the Word with the level of care as one who would want to retain that purity. Yahshua magnified the Fathers Law and under that magnification we only see greater purity.
Isaiah 42:21 Yahweh is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.
The Psalmist said that the very reason that he loved Yahweh's Word was because it is very pure.
Psalm 119:140 Thy word is VERY pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
The serpent is a master deceiver and one who has come in with all subtlety to contaminate the pure Word in order to do what he does which is to kill and destroy. Yahshua is the that Pure Word, He is the path and the narrow gate that leads to life that few people will ultimately find. It is His Gospel, doctrine, path and even His name that the enemy seeks to keep you from finding. The conscious decision must be made to seek for the exact, sharp and precise Truth which is only in Yahshua the Messiah.
Matt 7:13 "Enter ye in at the strait (narrow) gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and MANY there be which go in thereat:"
Matt 7:14 "Because strait (narrow) is the gate, and narrow (tribulation, affliction) is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it."
Matt 7:15 "BEWARE of false prophets, which COME TO YOU in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
