Is the Gospel Hidden? We better make sure we find it!
THE GOSPEL

The Messiah likened the Kingdom of Heaven to hidden treasure being found. In this study we explore these parables and doctrines Taught by the Master Yahshua.
Mat 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Mat 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Mat 13:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Something important to make note of is that in the preceding verses of this same chapter Yahshua say's (Mat 13:9 ...)Who has ears to hear, let him hear. It's extremely important that we not make lite of, or discount, any part of His Testimony. We know that not all have ears to hear, however, it's very easy to overlook this warning and apply it to others and not to ourselves. Yahshua commanded His followers to take heed therefore how we hear, this is a New Covenant commandment. The disciples then ask "Why do you speak to them in parables?". This is an extremely important question, why did He speak in so many parables when addressing the masses? Isn't it Yahweh's will that all would repent and be saved?
Mat 11:25 ... I thank thee, O Father, Master of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
Mat 11:26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
It is good in Yahweh's sight to hide these things from those that consider themselves to be wise and prudent. We must become like little children to even enter the Kingdom. Yahshua told the Pharisees in another place "If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.". We have to come to The Teacher (Yahshua) with the understanding and attitude that we truly are blind and deaf without Him. This is the attitude of a disciple. It's only then that the hidden things of the Kingdom will be revealed. We must, out of necessity, become His disciples.
Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
To whom is it given to know the mysteries of The Kingdom? To His disciples! We should not be disciples of any denomination, "church fathers", organization, pastor or rabbi. We have the Perfect Doctrine and Example in Yahshua the Messiah. It is in Him alone that we have to trust and follow.
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Mat 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
We should not call any man our teacher. We should have 1 teacher, that is Messiah. We must hear Him, this is the only way that we will see, hear and understand. This is the conversion that is required. Only then can true healing take place. We must place our Faith in His Testimony.
Mat 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, AND I SHOULD HEAL THEM.
He's the one that sow's the good seed. If we're following men that are teaching contrary to the path that Yahshua walked and contrary to His Doctrine, we would do well to begin to obey the one and only True Gospel. Take Heed lest any man deceive you, this is a commandment by the way, not a suggestion! Only after we begin to hear and receive His instruction will more be revealed unto us. He will not cast His pearls before swine.
Luk 8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
The Gospel of the Kingdom (Messiah's Doctrine) is that treasure and it's hidden in plain sight through doctrines propagated by wise and prudent men. Once this treasure is found we must sell all of the falsehoods that we seemed to have so that we can go and buy that treasure. Paul wrote in his letter to the Corinthian assembly calling the Gospel of Messiah glorious and referencing these same parables taught by the Savior.
2Co 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, IT IS HID TO THEM THAT ARE LOST:
2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest THE LIGHT OF THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF MESSIAH, who is the image of Elohim, should shine unto them.
2Co 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Yahshua the Messiah the Master; and ourselves your servants for Yahshua's sake.
2Co 4:6 For Elohim, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of Elohim in the face of Yahshua the Messiah.
2Co 4:7 But WE HAVE THIS TREASURE in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of Elohim, and not of us.
Now this treasure is hidden in our hearts, away from the lost world and ours to proclaim.
