Dispensationalism: Fact or Fiction?
If dispensational theology is false it will keep you from inheriting the Kingdom according to the Gospel.
THE GOSPEL

I have vivid memories of being taught dispensational theology as a child via complex looking charts that mapped out past, present and future. The chart typically had a large cross off center and a point off to the right that represented a pre-tribulation rapture. Anything to the left of that cross was said to be a time period of "man under the Law", to the right of the cross was said to be the time period of man "under grace" and anything positioned after the "rapture" was said to be "under the Law" once again. The Law of Yahweh is taught to be a tremendous burden that was likened to death and bondage.
I truly believed every word that I was taught as a child concerning the Bible, so much so that I remember being terrified of being left behind in a Tribulation period that was completely void of any Grace. Children tend to just accept what their teachers and loved ones teach them, having the understanding that they are just children and that the adults that care for them are endowed with certain knowledge that must be passed down. As we get older this soft state of mind tends to solidify into whatever it is that we've become. Yahshua said the following concerning this mindset.
Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall NOT ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM of heaven.
Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
To be converted and become like a little child is a command of dire consequence for those that choose to ignore it. Become like a little child... or else!... That's exactly what Christ is saying here. He then ties in these little ones that have entered the Kingdom with having believed in Him.
Mat 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which BELIEVE IN ME, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
It is this very belief that is under attack today. The enemy does not want people placing their faith in Christ and has set up false teachings designed for the sole purpose of leading people away from Him. When I think of dispensationalism, now, with its complex charts and maps I can't help but think how much it resembles a spiders web sitting in wait to ensnare. The people that teach it claim to understand all of the doctrines nuances along with its complexities. They spend years reading countless books written by countless author's dating back hundred's of years. Some have gone to seminary school or majored in theology at notable universities. Look at what Yahshua say's in light of becoming like a little child.
Mat 11:25 At that time Yahshua answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Master of heaven and earth, because thou hast HID THESE THINGS from the WISE and PRUDENT, and hast REVELEALED THEM UNTO BABES.
Mat 11:26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
That Father has hidden these things... What things?... The things that Yahshua is revealing thru His Word. Who has the Father hidden them from?... The wise and prudent. He then goes on to say that these very things have been revealed unto babes. We must put on this type of humility in order to sit before Christ and learn from Him. Paul wrote something very similar to the assembly at Corinth.
1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
1Co 1:27 But Elohim hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and Elohim hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1Co 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath Elohim chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
1Co 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Yahshua the Messiah, who of Elohim is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1Co 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, LET HIM GLORY IN THE MASTER.
It's both amazing and terrifying to see people that have dedicated their lives to studying the Bible, so effortlessly contradict and reject the Truth that Yahshua came to Testify of. Having so much head knowledge about things pertaining to the Bible, so many memorized scriptures and yet not able to see the one and only True Gospel.
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of THE TRUTH.
2Ti 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also RESIST THE TRUTH: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
Those that claim to be Bible believing Christians while rejecting the Gospel of Messiah do so under the influence of their theology which claims that Yahshua's message was preached under a different "dispensation" and thusly does not apply to them. They believe that they are now under grace and therefore not only do the Law and the Prophets not apply to them but neither do Yahshua's Words. In fact they claim that one should listen to them, their church doctrines and their gospel, because they are the ones that know what grace and the Truth are.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH.
The Word was made flesh and dwelt on the Earth and He was full of grace and truth. Now I understand that those that claim to have a "grace" and a "truth" that is greater and CONTRARY to Yahshua's do so ignorantly. That said, It truly is astounding to even begin to imagine the audacity required for make this claim. Perhaps that's part of the reason that the deception of dispensationalism is so mired in complexity, so much so, that the people that push the doctrine are blinded to the very pride required to propagate such a thing.
This is a very convenient theology that allows them to reach back into the Law, the Prophets and the Gospel and "claim" all of the blessings promised to those that believe and obey, for for themselves. These promises include all of the promises contained within the New Covenant. Paul said the following concerning those that reject the Testimony of Yahshua.
1Ti 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even THE WORDS OF OUR MASTER YAHSHUA THE MESSIAH, AND TO THE DOCTRINE which is according to piety;
1Ti 6:4 HE IS PROUD KNOWING NOTHING, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings.
Paul wrote this to Timothy in what they claim to be a different "dispensation" where the Words of Christ are null and void. Notice that he say's that those that will not consent to the Word's of Christ are Proud and Ignorant.
If one takes the time to read the letters that Christ had John pen in the book of the Revelation of Yahshua one will see that Yahshua's doctrine did not change to the adapt to a "new dispensation".
Look at what Isaiah wrote about the coming Gospel of Yahshua the Messiah.
Isa 40:6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
Isa 40:7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of Yahweh bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
Isa 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but THE WORD of our Elohim SHALL STAND FOREVER.
Isaiah is clearly saying that the Word of Yahweh which would come through Yahshua (the one and only true Gospel) stands forever. Peter then quotes this in his letter in order to make the same exact point.
1Pe 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
1Pe 1:25 But THE WORD of the Master ENDURETH FOR EVER AND THIS IS THE WORD which by the GOSPEL is preached unto you.
Peter is saying the exact same thing that Isaiah prophesied about and the very same thing that Yahshua the Messiah said concerning His own Words. This is the Gospel that the Apostles preached! Notice what Peter is saying in verse 25 when he writes "This is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you". They were preaching the exact same Gospel of the Kingdom that Messiah taught just as commanded by Yahshua.
Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY WORDS shall NOT pass away.
Yahshua then sent His disciples into all the world to teach that very same Gospel.
Matt 28:18 And Yahshua came and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."
Mat 28:19 "¶Go ye therefore, and TEACH ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:"
Mat 28:20 "Teaching them to observe ALL THINGS whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." Amen.
Paul also commands Timothy to not be ashamed of the Testimony of Christ but rather to be a partaker of the afflictions of the Gospel.
2nd Timothy 1:8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the TESTIMONY of our Master, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of THE GOSPEL according to the power of Elohim;
The idea that the Testimony of Yahshua (His Words, His Doctrine, His Gospel) do not apply today is a lie directly from the father of lies. Yahshua preached the Eternal Gospel and after the Crucifixion He sent out His disciples to teach that very same doctrine thereby making more disciples of Christ.
Matt 24:14 "And THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto ALL NATIONS; and then shall the end come."
This is the Gospel that must be preached all the way until the very end. Why is it preached until the very end? Because it is the Gospel that has the power to save. It is the Truth that must be obeyed. There is no division in time where we are to ignore His Gospel neither is there a division amongst Jew or Gentile. To exclude oneself from the Gospel of the Kingdom is to Exclude oneself from the Kingdom itself. The Gospel is Hidden in plain sight and when we find it, and begin to obey it, we will be in Christ and dwell in the secret place of the Most High.
Dispensational theology falls apart in light of the fact that the Truth is in Yahshua.
Eph 4:20 IF SO BE THAT YE HAVE HEARD HIM, and have been TAUGHT BY HIM, AS THE TRUTH IS IN YAHSHUA:
Darkness cannot dwell in The Light and the One True Light walked and taught in That Light perfectly.
Prov 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and THE LAW IS LIGHT; and reproofs of instruction are THE WAY OF LIFE:
Once the realization that the Truth is in Yahshua comes, the vail is taken away and the whole Bible comes into alignment and takes on new meaning because He is the Word that was made flesh. He did not come to destroy the Law or the Prophets but He fulfilled them by obeying them perfectly and set the example that we should follow after.
Those that teach dispensational theology would have you believe that obeying and following the Messiah is bondage and death. They would never verbalize it in that way but that is exactly what their doctrines teach. The reality is, that it is the Lies that keep us from hearing the Gospel that are bondage and death, not the Truth. That is one of the things Christ came to free us from.
John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Yahshua answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto THE TRUTH. Every one that is of the truth heareth MY VOICE.
If we seek we will find. We know where to look! Whoever it is that you place your faith in is your source for Truth and is the path that you are following. Are you placing your Faith in Christ?.. or do you have some other source? The Truth is in the only one that has the power to save.
