Did Paul tell Timothy he can eat unclean foods?
PAUL

1st Timothy Chapter 4 is often used in defense of eating unclean meats. Did Paul really instruct Timothy in this way?
Is it a sin to eat unclean meats that Yahweh commands us to consider abominable? We know that Christ kept the Law perfectly and commanded His followers to do and teach the commandments in the Law. So what grounds does anybody have to contradict the Words of Eternal Life?
I'm often met with a very common rebuttal... "But Paul said"... Let's think about that for a second. Christ was anointed by the Father to Preach the Gospel... Christ is the way the Truth and the Life... Christ came to the earth to bear witness of the Truth... The Father spoke from Heaven and said "Hear Him"... Yahshua Himself said "Those that are of the Truth hear MY VOICE"... Yahweh said through Moses that those that do not hear and obey Christ will be destroyed... Peter said to Christ "You have the words of eternal life"... All of the above being stated Peter warned of Paul's letters being hard to understand and also warned against the error of the Lawless twisting Paul's words (2nd Peter 3:15-17). Given all of this we still tend to place Paul's letters above His Testimony in an attempt to lay a foundation that is no foundation at all.
Below is the verse in question.
1Ti 4:4 For every creature of Elohim is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
This sounds like we should refuse to eat nothing that Elohim created right? Does that include Scorpions, Lion Fish and Blow Fish? Are those good? I would say not. There is a context for this verse and to find it we just have to start at verse 1.
1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Paul is saying that in the latter times people will depart from the faith. These people will give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. These doctrines cause people to speak lies and be void of a conscience.
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
These doctrines will forbid people to marry and command them to abstain from meats.
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which Elohim hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
Looking at this verse in context, in order to believe that verse 4 is talking about the doing away of a commandment of Yahweh. We would also have to believe that the commandment given by Yahweh is a doctrine of a devil and believe that there are unclean spirits involved with being led to keep commandments pertaining to avoiding unclean things. Does that make any sense at all? No it does not... Note that these doctrines also forbid people to marry. Where in the Law does it command people to live in fornication? It doesn't... Which meats did Elohim create to be received with Thanksgiving for believers that know the Truth? It would be the meats that are set apart(sanctified) from unclean meats in Leviticus chapter 11. His Law is the Truth
Psalm 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, AND THY LAW IS THE TRUTH.
This agrees perfectly with verse 5.
1Ti 4:5 For it is sanctified(Set Apart) by the word of Elohim and prayer.
Where did Yahweh set apart(sanctify) meats in His word? Leviticus Chapter 11!.. Paul then tells Timothy that if he reminds the brethren of these things he will be a good minister of Yahshua the Messiah.
1Ti 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Yahshua the Messiah, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
Timothy would be a good minister of Christ and be espousing good doctrine by teaching doctrines that agree with Yahshua the Messiah and the Law which He commanded us to do and teach.
1Ti 1:8 But we know that THE LAW IS GOOD, IF A MAN USE IT LAWFULLY;
